Rachel Proctor May represents plaintiffs and defendants at the trial and appellate stages.  Ms. May has particular expertise in administrative, telecommunications, and intellectual property law.  She joined Kellogg Hansen in 2015 after graduating magna cum laude from Harvard Law School where she was the Articles Editor for the Harvard Environmental Law Review.  Prior to law school, she worked as a reporter covering state and local government, and served as policy director to the Mayor Pro Tem in Austin, Texas.  She has a master’s degree from University of Texas at Austin in Radio-TV-Film and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Leidos, Inc. v. Indiana Public Retirement System, et al., 583 U.S. __, 16-581 (Oct. 17, 2017) - After merits briefing was completed, the parties reached an agreement in principle to settle the dispute.  

Audio MPEG, Inc. v. Dell Inc. - Reached favorable settlement in patent infringement action with antitrust counterclaims.

West Virginia, et al. v. EPA, No. 15-1363 - Drafted brief for Amici Curiae Madeleine K. Albright, Leon E. Panetta, and William J. Burns in Support of Respondents.
